What is the Greater East Hampton Chamber of Commerce?

The Greater East Hampton Chamber of Commerce is a private, membership-based non-profit organization that aims to attract and promote economic development in the Town of East Hampton. In addition to the Village of East Hampton, the chamber serves the hamlets of Wainscott, Springs and Amagansett are supported by more than 100 members. The organization is led by a volunteer board of directors.

Networking and Business Development

The Chamber hosts a series of networking and educational events that connect and inform the business community. In addition, the Chamber partners with other organizations to host fairs and markets throughout the year. The Chamber’s biggest event is the annual Santa Parade and Holiday Market, held every year in early December.

The Chamber leadership has connections in local government and media and is paying attention to issues that matter most to our local business community. We pay attention to these important issues and report back to our members through meetings, email communication, and social media.

  1. Members work together to ensure improved business throughout Greater East Hampton including Amagansett, East Hampton Village, Springs, and Wainscott.

  2. When you join a chamber of commerce, the chamber becomes your voice and represents your business in front of the government. It provides a collective voice for change, advocating for policies that benefit businesses and the community.

  3. The chamber hosts monthly local events that bring our community together and educate our business leaders, providing opportunities for members to network with other businesses and chamber members as well as local government representatives.
